About The Company
M/S Polar Marmo Agglomerates Limited (PMAL) was incorporated on 25.11.1987 as a private limited company and was converted into a public limited company in August, 1988. The Company set up a factory for manufacturing Agglomerated marble tiles i.e. marble tiles made by bonding crushed marble stone/powder with white cement at Pratap Nagar, Udaipur (Rajasthan). The main plant and machinery was imported from Italy under technical collaboration with M/s Breton SPA of Italy, who also provided technical know-how. The Company commenced its commercial production on 20.12.1991. However the technology of manufacturing agglomerated marbles did not prove successful under indigenous conditions. Due to continuous losses, the Company stopped its manufacturing activities w.e.f. August 1995.
At present, Authorised Share Capital of the Company is Rs. 15,00,00,000/- divided into 1,50,00,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each and paid up capital of the company is Rs. 117,618,012/-.
Presently the equity shares of Polar Marmo Agglomerates Limited are listed with Delhi Stock Exchange Limited (DSE), Jaipur Stock Exchange Limited (JSE) and Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited (CSE).
